Matt Dacey started ClubDev to assist clubs in building sustainable programs to keep players in the game.
Matt currently serves US Soccer as a Coach Educator and a Coach Educator Developer. Prior, Matt served as a Technical Advisor for US Soccer, responsible for supporting the boys Development Academy Clubs in the Pacific Northwest. During this time, Matt lead the Youth National Team scouting network in the Northwest and Club Development programming for the regional clubs.
Matt’s 20 years of youth soccer experience includes working with clubs of all sizes, from community based organizations to top Development Academy programs. Matt’s extensive experience provide great insight into the technical, political, educational and administrative challenges facing clubs.

US Soccer Technical Advisor, responsible for Club Development of the US Soccer Development Academy Clubs in the Pacific Northwest and Scouting for the Youth National Teams.
Oregon Youth Soccer Technical Director, responsible for oversight of all technical aspects of youth soccer in Oregon.
US Soccer National Instructional Staff; former state staff instructor in Oregon, Virginia and Colorado.
Matt has coached in the ECNL, US Soccer Development Academy, Region I Boys, Region IV Girls and Virginia, Colorado and Oregon ODP, and collegiately at Portland State.
Matt holds a USSF ‘A’ License, United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma and the National Youth License.
